Who Is DJ Marz?

It all began in 2002 with two CD players , a 4 channel Numark mixer , and a Microphone . DJ Marz felt that he could mix the songs like he heard them mixed onlocal radio stations such as , Hot.97 & Power.1051 , but never imagined one day playing for his own radio gig.

Born and raised in Queens , NY, DJ Marz was exposed to DJ’ing thru his Father . When DJ Marz was 12 he used to use his Father’s DJ Equipment without permission , but one day he got caught using the equipment & his Father was very surprised with his sons mixing skill that he suggested DJ Marz should play around with the skill as more than a hobby . It wasn’t until 2006 when DJ Marz took DJ’ing serious , his friends Suggested that he should peruse the teen club scene , the opportunity soon came and left , but built a desire to get in the clubs for Marz .

DJ Marz did what most DJ’s would do before getting into the clubs - spinning at local house parties , school events , sweet 16’s , But it wasn’t until 2010 that he caught his big break after meeting , King Bubba ( Diff’rent World Entertainment ) & his now promotional team UFO Entertainment that things really took off . As soon as he got the opportunity to shine he made sure his name was known with signature monthly Hip Hop , R&B & Reggae mixtapes , a weekly USTREAM live stream internet radio show , a weekly gig at 90.5 FM in Queens , & a weekly gig at SUNY Old Westbury Web radio . The momentum DJ Marz gained in Queens & on mix tapes caught the attention of his now manager Joe Millz ( Diff’rent World Entertainment ) & enabled him to secure performances at numerous college campuses but not limited to , SUNY Old Westbury , Stony Brook University , SUNY Binghamton University , Medgar Evars University and many more.
